Sunshine and outtakes

How about something playful today? This is something I made on my own time in 2014 as part of a work project we never finished. The idea was that only a >>small<< segment of this would be used, after being combined with everyone else’s parts. And yes, someone else needed to be in charge of playing actual music. My cardboard guitar fell short :). Parts of this are just . . . just no. But in the spirit of not taking myself so seriously, I share it with you! Besides, so much effort went into this, it’s a shame to just let it sit on my computer. I remember having so much trouble filming, because Jim was asleep on the other side of the door during the day and that made me feel super shy, so I tried to do audio at night and just lip sync it during the day when I had filming light with the intention of merging the two. Or, you know, the twenty files. I probably don’t need to tell you that was a terrible plan. In the end I just hoped he slept through it. Impressive how camera filming quality has improved since then.
